Jiddah
Country: Saudi Arabia
The ancient city of Jiddah is Saudi Arabia’s gateway to the Red Sea and has long been known as a gathering place of merchants.
The city has often been referred to as the Paris of Saudi Arabia.
You can still savor the timeless atmosphere of the once walled old section of the city where people still gather in large numbers.
In winter the temperature still climbs to 26 degrees C and in summer it soars to 43 degrees C, and you will realize how dry the air is from how quickly your wash dries.
Saudi Arabia is a country where foreign visitors other than pilgrims to Mecca and merchants require an invitation to enter and consumption of alcohol is prohibited, but you will find that there is also a new interest in marine sports like fishing and PWC riding here. Along the creeks (lagoons or river mouths) at Jiddah there is a rush in the construction of marina and villas with docks.
At Abhor Creek a 20-minute ride from the city, you will find marinas, parks and a cluster of weekend villas and at one of the marinas you can rent a WaveRunner XL700.
If business or travel takes you to Jiddah and you have some spare time, why not join the locals and enjoy getting out on the water on a WaveRunner?
When renting a PWC, be sure to abide by operating requirements and riding area regulations of the country.
PWC rental facilities are not operated by Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd., or its affiliates. Rentals are for individual use and utilized at the liability of the user.
