Guaruja
Country: Brazil
After an hour’s ride by expressway from the metropolis of Sao Paulo, when the road leaves the flat grasslands and begins to head downhill, suddenly you see before you a beautiful sea beyond a coast of rich green.
On the beach are men and women, young and old, enjoying themselves with their friends or families, walking by the water’s edge or playing football or volleyball. This beautiful place is called Guaruja.
In the nicely kept restaurants facing the beach along the coast road you can enjoy churrasco, seafood and other types of Brazilian cuisine.
At a marine shop (Yamaha dealership and boat storage yard) on the coast road you can rent a WaveRunner by the hour to enjoy yourself out on the water along with swimming and sunbathing.
With the tropical climate, you will find the beaches full of visitors in the southern hemisphere summer months of November to April and vacationers during the Christmas and Easter (carnival) holidays.
You make your WaveRunner rental application at the marine shop. Put on your lifejacket, receive instruction in the use of the craft and you are off for a ride.
The riding area is separated from the swimming area by a line of buoys so the WaveRunner renters and swimmers get along fine without interfering with each others’ fun.
When renting a PWC, be sure to abide by operating requirements and riding area regulations of the country.
PWC rental facilities are not operated by Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd., or its affiliates. Rentals are for individual use and utilized at the liability of the user.
