Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias
Country: Spain
The Canaria (Canary) Islands lie more than 1000 km southwest of the Iberian Peninsula off the west coast of North Africa.
The climate is warm and pleasant all year around with an average temperature of 20.6 degrees C in spring, 24.33 degrees C in summer, 20.5 degrees C in autumn and 17.7 degrees C in winter. This and the rich greenery of the islands make it a south sea paradise that has long been called the “Islands of Joy.” These Canaria Islands are understandably one of the most popular resort destinations for Europeans and can be reached by plane or cruise boats that island-hop through the archipelago.
Visit the many large and small resorts that dot these islands and you will find people enjoying not only PWCs but all types of marine sports, from dinghy and yacht sailing to parasailing and fishing.
In Spain a license is necessary for PWC owners to operate their craft, but not when they are rented to tourists. (However, it is necessary to sign an agreement of recognition of safety factors)
If you have the chance, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to ride a WaveRunner on these westernmost islands of Europe and enjoy the mix of Spanish and North African culture.
When renting a PWC, be sure to abide by operating requirements and riding area regulations of the country.
PWC rental facilities are not operated by Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd., or its affiliates. Rentals are for individual use and utilized at the liability of the user.
