Cancun
Country: Mexico
Cancun is located at the eastern end of the Yucatan Peninsula and is known as one of the world’s most famous resort area, where each of the hotels lining the 400-meter wide 22 km long coastal island in the beautiful coral sea has its own private beach.
But there is more to be enjoyed here than just marine sports and shopping.
The Yucatan Peninsula was once a center of Mayan culture and you can venture inland to see some of the many well-preserved historical sites to take you on a time trip back to the days to the Maya civilization.
To get to the zona-hoterela (hotel strip) you cross the lagoon by the bridge that connects it to from the old town and the airport, and there you will find that you can easily rent a WaveRunner at the private beaches of each of the hotels.
Also, from the tourist marina on the lagoon you can take the popular "Jungle tour," a leisurely cruise through the mangrove groves on 8-ft PWC type boats powered by outboard motors.
Cancun is easily reached by direct flights from the U.S., Europe and South America, and it has recently become a favorite honeymoon spot for Japanese couples as well.
Wouldn’t you like to ride a WaveRunner in the endless summer of this Caribbean paradise?
When renting a PWC, be sure to abide by operating requirements and riding area regulations of the country.
PWC rental facilities are not operated by Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd., or its affiliates. Rentals are for individual use and utilized at the liability of the user.
