On September 21, 2006, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. held a Fun Day school at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for Asian and Middle East distributors.
H20, a leading WaveRunner event organizer famous for organizing the “Wave Day” events in Australia, organized this school once again.
After the participant briefing regarding safety and rules everyone was ready for the long-awaited S-1 time trials.
The models used were the 2-stroke engine model VX700, which is the best-selling model for rental operators around the world and the highly popular 4-stroke engine model VX Sport.
Thank to the fantastic cooperation of the local distributor, Supra Technic, the preparations for the event went smoothly, without a hitch.
Thanks especially to Supra Technic’s Andy, Jonathan and Chow for their great help.

The time trials became an exciting competition as predicted.
Mr. Naik from Oman had a big fall that really made a splash.
Ms. Jiang Xiaolan from China and Ms. Cristina Supangan from the Philippines both made brilliant runs.
Mr. Panayiotis from Cyprus ran with his usual skill and hustled.
The veteran manager from Lebanon, Mr. Dabbous, was also right there in the competition. Some of the participants were entering an S1 trial for the first time, but everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the competition.
An extravagant lakeside lunch was prepared by a local catering service. A delicious meal always makes a fun event even more memorable.
And H20 performed an amazing sky ski demonstration!
The participants couldn’t take their eyes off of the water!

The climax of the event was the final round competed by the participants who recorded the top three times. The winner was Mr. Thanachai from Thailand.
He is a sportsman with a pro-level golf game, too.
Mr. Abdullah Ibrahim Alkyorayef gave a great performance as well.
The day’s time record holder, Jonathan from Singapore, hustled as well.
At the awards ceremony, the top three riders, the top competitive female riders, the rider who ran the course most carefully and the rider who entertained the audience most were all given prizes.
It would be a waste not to expand this event into one that our worldwide customers can also participate in. Soon there will be an opportunity to hold an S1 event with these participants in your country.
Don’t miss it.
