Unfortunately we were not able to have the Slalom edition agended for last 6th of July. Once again the experience of having it in the sea (S.Martinho do Porto Bay) was not successful . The bad sea conditions and the wind were the responsible agents. The participants were also few. We are now able to conclude that it is difficult to gather a great number of participants , when the Slalom takes place outside another event , like a toue ou demonstrations.
On the 7th July (Sunday) we had the 2nd Yamaha Tour , from Nazar till S.Martinho do Porto and back (20 marine miles total).In spite the rough sea and waves allowing excellent jumps , we had about 30 WaveRunners and 60 customers. In the end everyone liked it. Many participants asked for more Yamaha tours however, this year (2002) we "only" scheduled these two.
