Jet Package
Jet Package Characteristics
The Jet Package combines an engine and a jet propulsion system inside a single unit. It is designed for the purpose of easily fitting the unit into a hull which requires jet propulsion.
The package can also include other features such as a fuel tank and a steering device according to the users needs.
The external housing of the Jet Package can be designed to fit the hull regardless of whether it is made of FRP material or Aluminum.
This plan introduces the "Tiller Jet", which features a Jet Package with a tiller used in an open boat, and the "Jet Pontoon", which features a Jet Package fitted on to a pontoon boat.
The "Tiller Jet" houses a Jet Package to the center-rear of the high utility open boat. The operation lever is attached to the Jet Package for the purpose of operating the boat using a Tiller as well as forward and backward controls.
The seats are arranged on the deck so that passengers can sit face to face around a removable center table. The front deck features a flat deck which is convenient for fishing etc.
The boat is usually maneuvered from the left rear seat. However, this boat also allows maneuvering from the left rear seat by rotating the tiller forward 180 degrees.
The tiller can also be extended for maneuvering the boat whilst standing.
The "Jet Pontoon" houses a Jet Package to the center of the hull of the pontoon boat. The deck features an operating seat (which enables the boat to be operated from a high position) and a rear seat which forms a single unit. This seat unit is located around the center rear of the deck.
The rear of the Jet Package also features convenient steps for easy access to the water, adding a new function to the pontoon boat for increased sports utility.
I am hopeful that many types of marine vehicles with a variety of functions will be created due to a strong presence of the easily attachable Jet Package in the market, making more people enjoy marine recreation with their family and friends.
